Platypus Amigurumi

My mom's co-worker asked if I could make her a platypus. It turned out into the cutest gosh-darned platypus in the world. :3 I really love how he turned out! I experimented a bit in sculpting the face and bill, and I'm so pleased with the results. I'll have to take a separate picture of the bill, it looks so nice. And I'm so pleased with the feet.
As always, I might make a pattern for sale if there is any interest in it. I love him.

Did you know that female platypuses lactate, but do not have teats? The milk sort of...oozes out. Yum. And platypus tails aren't flat like beaver tails, they're more like otter tails.

Edit: Because I believe what Wikipedia tells me; "There is no universally agreed plural of "platypus" in the English language. Scientists generally use "platypuses" or simply "platypus". Colloquially, the term "platypi" is also used for the plural, although this is technically incorrect and a form of pseudo-Latin; the correct Greek plural would be "platypodes".
