So Many OWLS by bandotaku So Many OWLS by bandotaku
I love these little guys so much. Two have already been sold, and two are pretty much reserved... But if you are really pining for anwant an owl, message me on Etsy. :D
I shipped one to England the other day. My first international sale! It was very exciting! I was so scared something would go wrong and it would end up costing fifty dollars or something, haha.

Thanks! I bought those eyes on a total whim a few years ago at a random craft store. Finally found a use for them!

Love it when that happens! A random tool or supply in your stash suddenly becomes SUPER useful. That's the best.

Congrats on your first international sale!! It's pretty exciting! I remember my first sale was to somewhere in France and I researched how to make sure I wrote the address correctly. (Always try to write the country in capitals apparently) I was really nervous about one going to Germany because there were a few weird text characters I had to try and write.

I hope you gets lots more international customers!

I just copied and pasted the address from Etsy! I do that for all of my labels because my handwriting is nasty, and I'm always afraid I'll goober something up. But I didn't know there needed to be a customs form, so that was pretty fun. The address really didn't fit on the lines provided on the form.
Thank you so much! It's terribly exciting. :)

Haha, I'm too lazy to print out a shipping label, so I just write it all out by hand. I know I'm not saving anytime, I don't know why I keep doing it.

Next time you go to the post office, ask for a handful of the customs forms, they'll just give you a bunch (for free) and you can fill them out at home and makes going to the post office at little bit less of a hassle.

They NEVER give enough space to write out the whole address. Worst designed form ever!

Right? And I'm from the States, so I'm sitting there, trying to figure out why this address has two... provinces probably. At least the post office was pretty empty so only a few people got to hear me mutter to myself. :XD: It was good fun.
That's a good idea, much less muttering. And I think you can print them out online, I've seen it but have not looked into it. But now I know! :)
