SQUIRREL! Gosh, I love this little guy.

My first time trying out the "right" side of the stiches (I just made an okapi using the right side and was going to take a picture comparing the stiches, but I FORGOT). It was annoying at first, having to flip my pieces inside out, but after a few rows, I've gotten used to crocheting the other direction. And I really like the results! Sheesh, now I'm going to have to think about which sides I use for each thing I make, haha. That'll be fun. And I learned how to do an invisible decrease! Why I wasn't taught this somewhere from the start, beats me, but it sure makes a difference.

If anyone's willing to pay a few bucks for this squirrel pattern, nag me and I'll get it up on my Etsy.

I love that group! I kind of thought it was too cutesy of a squirrel, but I'll see what they think. Thank you!

Aw, he's so cute.

What's an invisible decrease? Is there an invisible increase as well?

An invisible decrease is just a different way of looping the stitches together and makes a much smaller gap. You know how when you decrease, you get that funny gap? This looks almost identical to a single crochet! Like magic! :D Google it and you'll definitely find the instructions or a quick video, it's very easy. :]

Not sure about an invisible increase. With increases, I don't think they're as noticeable because it's just squeezing another stitch in, where with decreasing, you're hooking them together.
